VPA offers job-oriented course to girl students

Visakhapatnam: Centre of Excellence in Maritime and Shipbuilding (CEMS) in coordination with Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) is imparting training in latest software and hardware technology.
As part of training, students are being trained/educated in courses viz. inventory controller, courier supervisor, warehouse executive, CNC machine operator, welder and electricians. Approximately 25 girl students as a special women empowerment drive were trained in inventory controller courses for 60 days from March 1. Speaking on the occasion, Dr M Angamuthu, VPA Chairperson complimented students in passing out and distributed course completion certificate to the students and to those who got placements.
He said the students should plan for higher studies and opt for jobs in neighbouring cities as well as in other developed cities. He wished all the girls to be positive in their approach and bring laurels to their institution.
